This notice is published in line with the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions (特定商取引法). Rapid Field Horizon sells consulting services to companies. No order can be completed on this website: every engagement is agreed by email, telephone or in person, and confirmed in a written quotation.

5. Services offered

Management consulting: market entry planning, operational review, long-range planning, organisational design review, interim advisory retainers and post-merger integration support, as described on the Services page. The practice does not provide legal, tax, accounting, valuation or labour-law advice and does not claim any professional licence or registration.

6. Fees

There are no list prices. After a first conversation we send a written quotation that states the scope, the schedule, the fee and any expenses. Consumption tax is shown in the quotation. Nothing starts until you have agreed to the quotation.

7. Charges other than the fee

Travel to your site and other expenses, where there are any, are listed separately in the quotation. Internet and telephone charges for contacting us are borne by you.

8. Payment methods

The accepted methods are stated in the quotation or in the engagement agreement. This website does not take online payments.

9. Payment timing

As stated in the engagement agreement: for a project, on the milestones or dates it lists; for a monthly retainer, on the schedule it lists.

10. When the service is provided

The start date, the schedule and the delivery of written outputs are set out in the written scope of each engagement. A date is never promised before the quotation is agreed.

11. Cancellation and changes

Cancellation, changes to scope and any refund are handled as set out in the engagement agreement, which is signed before work starts. Because nothing is bought through this website, there is no order to cancel online. If you have asked for a quotation and decide not to go ahead, tell us by email and nothing is owed.

12. Goods and returns

No goods are sold, so there is no delivery of products and no return of goods.

13. Quotation and agreement

A quotation is valid for the period written on it. A contract for consulting services is formed when both sides have agreed the quotation or signed the engagement agreement in writing; an email thread that only discusses ideas does not create an obligation for either side.

14. Languages

We correspond in English and, where the client prefers, in Japanese. If the English and Japanese wording of this notice ever differ, please ask us and we will confirm the meaning in writing.

15. Handling of your information

What you send us while asking about a quotation is used only to answer you and to prepare the engagement. See the privacy policy for retention, your rights under the APPI and the one cookie this website uses.

16. Limits of results

Our work is advice. We do not guarantee commercial results such as revenue, cost savings or the outcome of an acquisition.
