Market Entry Planning
For companies preparing to enter a new domestic region or an adjacent sector, we map the competitive landscape, identify the realistic barriers, and build a sequenced entry plan grounded in current field data. The plan names the first actions that have to happen before anything else, the assumptions behind each step, and the signs that would tell you to change course.
Operational Restructuring
When throughput stalls or costs accumulate in ways that are hard to trace, the cause is usually structural rather than individual. We carry out an operational review on site, identify the friction points, and work with your managers on process changes they can actually carry. Cutting headcount is not our starting point, and employment and labour-law questions go to the appropriate licensed professional.
Long-Range Strategic Planning
Three- to five-year planning that accounts for the specific pressures facing mid-size Japanese companies: demographic shifts, supply-chain concentration risk, and the pace of domestic demand change. We facilitate the planning sessions and write a standalone strategy document that records what was decided, what was set aside, and what would prompt a revision.
Seeing the situation as it actually is.
Organisational Design Review
Reporting structures and decision-making authority often calcify over years without anyone noticing. We review how decisions actually get made versus how the org chart says they should, and propose adjustments that fit how your organisation really works. We do not draft employment rules or personnel contracts.
Interim Advisory Retainer
A monthly retainer arrangement for companies that want a senior strategic perspective on call without the overhead of a full-time hire. Session frequency, topics and fees are set out in a written quotation and can be reviewed at any time. The retainer is advice; the decisions remain yours.
Post-Merger Integration Support
The weeks after an acquisition closes are when integration choices are made, often with too little information. We support integration planning from the first week, focusing on operational alignment, communication structure and the informal decision paths that the org chart does not show. Deal structuring, valuation, due diligence and legal or tax steps stay with licensed advisers.
Scope and limits
We provide management consulting: observation, analysis, facilitation and written recommendations. We do not give legal, tax, accounting, valuation or labour-law advice, we do not act as a broker in company sales or acquisitions, and we do not guarantee commercial results, which depend on decisions and conditions outside our control. Fees are set in a written quotation before any work begins (see the Notice under the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions). Photographs on this site are illustrative stock images; they do not show our clients, sites or staff.
